Dr.-Ing. Felix Brinckmann studierte Maschinenbau an der Technischen Universität Darmstadt und promovierte 2011 am Institut für Technische Thermodynamik.
Seine Dissertation beschäftigte sich mit dem Thema „Lacktrocknungsvorgänge auf dreidimensionalen Geometrien – Simulation und Experiment“. Danach war er mehrere Jahre als Projektleiter bei der LacTec GmbH in Rodgau tätig und verantwortete internationale Projekte im Bereich Lackier- und Anlagentechnik.
Seit 2015 arbeitet er bei ALCON in Großwallstadt, wo er in verschiedenen Funktionen technische Entwicklungs- und Innovationsprojekte leitet. Seine Schwerpunkte liegen unter anderem in den Bereichen Verpackungsanlagen, Inspektionssysteme sowie der Entwicklung und Umsetzung neuer Produkt- und Prozessideen.
